Our work Events Camino Pub Club Join us at our local pub for a chance to meet up with fellow pilgrims - whether you have walked the Camino or are thinking of it or just enjoy a drink in like-minded company, come along and enjoy a glass or two of wine at 20 per cent off all large glasses or bottles on the first Wednesday of the month. We meet every month on the first Wednesday except for August and December. Pub Club is held at The Mad Hatter, 3-7 Stamford Street, on the corner of Stamford Street and Blackfriars Road. It is a hotel but an ordinary pub too with normal pub entrance. The pub is situated equidistant between the Thames and CSJ Office at the side of Christ Church, 27 Blackfriars Road on the same side of the road. When you enter the pub we are on the raised platform directly on the other side of the bar, of which we have exclusive use. NB the pub goes back a long way - don't walk through it to the back. Transport Blackfriars Station Overground and District and Circle Lines Underground - we are on the south bank side: 5 mins walk to the venue. Southwark tube station (Jubilee Line): approx 10 mins walk towards River down Blackfriars Road and past Christ Church CSJ offices. Waterloo Station approx 15 mins walk. Come on in, order a drink from the bar and remember the 20 per cent discount on any large glass or bottle of wine! (they also do good food) and join us at the other side of the bar from 6.45pm.
