This guide includes 36 daily stage maps and contour guides for the pilgrimage route from Lisbon to Porto and onwards to Santiago de Compostela.
The guide covers the central route 'Camino Central' from Lisbon to Santiago, the coastal routes from Porto called the 'Camino da Costa, plus the seashore 'Senda Litoral'. This latter route is exposed to windblown sand from Atlantic winds but recent and ongoing improvements has widened its appeal. The 'Variante Espiritual' via Ria Arousa is also included.
Slimmer than the full "Pilgrim's Guide to the Camino Portugués", this gives maps and accommodation information on the various routes from Lisbon and Porto, with fewer of the general interest descriptions and reflections.
