The CSJ’s Wessex Regional Group covers Dorset and south Wiltshire.  The group holds occasional walks and social events such as meals together, and welcomes pilgrims past, present and future.  This year saw a pilgrimage walk to visit Whitchurch Canonicorum, The Church of St Candida and Holy Cross, St Wite’s Well and the ruins of St. Gabriel Chapel, and other events are planned.  You are most welcome to join us!

Wessex members might also like to keep an eye on events organised by the Devon & Cornwall RG, and the Bristol RG, as you would be welcome to join those events too.  Please email the relevant RG Leader if you intend to join them!

Upcoming Events

Our next meeting is on 25th July, St James' Day.  We have planned a walk round Salisbury taking in some of the water meadows, then on to the cathedral for a Festal Evensong at which one of our Regional members is reading the lesson.  If there is anyone  who would like to join us for any or all of these parts please contact either Charlotte or Penny.

Recent Events

The newly reconstituted Wessex Regional group met in April for their inaugural walk from St James' Church, Alderholt.  We were six humans and Moose, a very well behaved Alsation.  After the walk, which was a bit wet, repaired to the pub for a happy lunch.
